The Philadelphia Eagles are an American football team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The history of the Philadelphia Eagles
During the NFL’s inaugural season in 1916, a team known as the Challenge Fountain Eagles finished with a 7-1 record but did not win the title. This was because teams from four larger cities (Boston, Buffalo, New York, and Pittsburgh) joined the league. The Challenge Fountain Eagles joined the Eastern Championship League in 1917, but did not return to the NFL after that season.
From 1917 to 1960, the Philadelphia Eagles had a somewhat mediocre record, usually finishing in the middle or lower half of the league. In the 1950s, they were one of the most dominant teams in the league, finishing with 10 consecutive winning seasons. The team appeared in the NFL Championship game during two of those seasons, losing both times, in 1952 and 1953.

What does the Southwest Wildlife Center do for Eagles?
The Southwest Wildlife Center is the best in providing in-depth care to bald eagles that have injuries. These are given care for free by our compassionate staff. We also feature frequent blood transfusions and even shared our facility with eagles after Hurricane Harvey.
We currently are helping 35 bald eagles in the Eagle’s Nest Bird Rehabilitation program. All of these eagles have injuries.
